Blonde required very exacting work, aiming for as close to perfect re-creations as possible. Tina Charad and I worked together to re-create a myriad of magazines — often intercut within the film itself, which posed its own unique set of challenges. We were also tasked with re-creating a number of iconic sets and artwork from Marilyn’s films. And sometimes we had to print everything backwards! Blonde premiered in 2022 at the Venice Film Festival.
