Production designer Meredith Lippincott and director Geremy Jasper had a very specific vision for the music graphics they wanted me to create for the film. Working remotely, I was given a helpful document of visual references for the slick world of O-Z, an established rap artist. Meanwhile, the artwork I made for aspiring rapper Patti Cake$ looks purposefully janky. I think we achieved a great look together. Patti Cake$ premiered at Sundance in 2017.
