Biker Bar was a true labor of love. As Art Director, I collaborated with filmmaking collective Sunset Television to help create their vision of a dusty old bar in the desert. We wanted the space to feel very layered and lived-in. We peppered in artwork by some of Sunset TV’s faves Kelly Breez, Brian Blomerth, Matt Fisher, Christy Karacas, and more. There was VERY little time, and I worked incredibly hard (along with my then-roommate, graphic designer Peony Trhinh), to try and fill the space with everything on their wishlist, including a layer of my parents’ old 1970s party photos. If there had been more time, I would have loved to tweak some of the biker film posters, but sadly the show did not make it past the pilot stage.
